RESOLUTION NO. 1995-13
A RESOLUTION of the City of Lakewood, Washington, providing for a process for accounts payable and certification review
WHEREAS, in connection with the incorporation of the City of Lakewood and the commencement of municipal functions, the City will be receiving tax revenue and making expenditures for City purposes; and,
WHEREAS, in order to allow for the orderly handling of such revenues and expenditures, it is appropriate for the City to establish a system for processing and handling accounts payable items and review certification.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, WASHINGTON HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
Section 1. Accounts Payable - Certification Review Process.
There is hereby established for the City of Lakewood, Washington, a process for handling accounts payable items and review certification, which process is identified and set forth on the document attached hereto, marked as Exhibit AA@ and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. Effective Date. This resolution shall be in full force and effect on February 28, 1996, provided that this Resolution shall be in effect during the interim period prior thereto.
