ORDINANCE NO. 557
AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of Lakewood, Washington, amending Ordinance No. 524, the 2011-2012 Biennium Budget Ordinance, originally adopted on November 15, 2010 and Ordinance No. 541, adopted on November 21, 2011.
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 35, the City of Lakewood has created a biennial budget with the most recent budget having commenced on January 1, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has determined the need for budget adjustments in several funds; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for the City Council to consider adjustments to the budget adopted for fiscal biennium 2011-2012 to accurately reflect revenues and expenditures not previously included in the Fiscal Year 2012 budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN as follows:

All funds not here listed shall be appropriated as per Ordinance Number 524, the 2011-2012 Biennial Budget Ordinance.
Section 2: Interfund Transfer Authorization: Interfund transfers between the Narcotics Seizure Fund No. 180 and the Surface Water Management Fund No. 401 in an amount not to exceed $205,000 to repay a previously authorized interfund loan, and between the Sewer Project Debt Service Fund No. 204 and the Sewer Project CIP Fund No. 311 in the amount of $750,000 for capital construction purposes are hereby authorized.
Section 3: Severability: If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance shall be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, or its application held inapplicable to any person, property or circumstance, such invalidity or unconstitutionality or inapplicability shall not effect the validity or constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance or its application to any other person, property or circumstance.
Section 4: Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect for the fiscal year 2012 and five (5) days after publication as required by law.
